Very nice new model and much improved over the much older AMR version. The AMR version has several problems due to their attempt to make an Andial version out of their exist Moby Dick model. The roof line was too low, body side panel aft of the front wheels was wrong, engine was wrong, interior was wrong, and finally the stripes and color was off -- AMR version has red in the stripes for the entire front and top of the car -- car at Daytona only had red just in front of the windsheld and on the roof. All they had the color red not dayglow. Marsh version has corrected all the problems and had update tech -- like lots of photoetch rather than white metal. Great new model.

Marsh will also do the 1984 second place Daytona 24 car Valvoline 935L -- it will be available in both long and short tail. It ran in both configurations during the race because of body damage at night to the long tail during the race. Finished in short tail configuration. AMR version was just a copy of the 83 car with different decals. Photos below are the prototype model under construction, 83 daytona winner & the 84 Valvoline car in long and short tail during the race.
